Introduction to Thai Cooking

Thai cuisine has perfected how to balance sweet, spicy, sour, bitter and salty.  Explore these flavors in authentic Thai recipes such as pork larb, Thai beef salad, chicken and coconut soup, thick peanut curry, vegetable green curry, pineapple fried rice and the street noodle dish, Pad Thai.   You will learn how to shop for, prepare and use fragrant ingredients like lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, bird eye chilies and Thai basil.  Taste a Thai-inspired mango cocktail and a popular Thai beer.  After becoming familiar with the recipes and ingredients, the participants will prep and cook the recipes.  At the end of each class we will all taste the food.

This is 2 classes, 3 hours each class.

Cost: $120 includes instruction, materials, and recipe booklet for both classes.
