Slow life down and connect to past generations of Italians as you knead the soft dough of fresh pasta. Be amazed as you roll out the sheets of pasta, thinner and thinner, until they are ready to be cut into taglierini, tagliatelle, fettucini or pappardelle. The type of noodle is your choice as you will take home the pound of pasta that you make. In the first class you will make noodles and I will demonstrate a red sauce. It will either be a robust Bolognese sauce or a basic tomato sauce with meatballs. In the second class you will learn how to make ravioli with the sheets of pasta. The ravioli with sausage and spinach and four cheese will be topped with a red sauce. The butternut squash and pancetta ravioli with be topped with a brown butter and sage sauce.
This is 2 classes, 3 hours each class.
Cost: $120 includes instruction, materials, and recipe booklet for both classes.
