Authentic Chinese Stir-Fries

Embark on a culinary adventure that will teach you how to put together healthy, home-style Chinese stir-fries.  I have lived in Hong Kong and can assure you that these recipes are authentic and different from what you get in your local “Americanized” Chinese restaurant.  This class is hands-on so that you become fully prepared to make these recipes at home.  The first class will go in depth about the tools and ingredients used and there will be a demonstration of the steps to putting together a stir-fry.  You will also make delicious steamed pork and ginger dumplings.  In the second class you will prepare the recipes as you touch, cook and taste the delicious food.  Enjoy the flavors and smells of aromatics like ginger, garlic, and green onion while creating dishes like Spicy Chicken with Water Chestnuts, Yang Zhou Fried Rice with Barbequed Pork, and Beef and Scallions in Oyster Sauce, Bok Choy with Garlic and Ma Po Tofu…all served with fragrant Jasmine rice and Jasmine tea.  Many participants make these recipes part of their everyday home-cooking!

This is 2 classes, 3 hours each class.

Cost: $120 includes instruction, materials, and recipe booklet for both classes.
